CITY SCHOOLS DIVISION OF CABUYAOPRIME – HRM BRONZE AWARDEE

THE Civil Service Commission (CSC) assessed the maturity level and conferred PRIMEHRM Bronze Award to City Schools Division of Cabuyao last January 18, 2023. The CSC has granted privileges and authority to approve appointments, subject to post audit, and exemption from Section 96 of the 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and other Human Resource Actions. The Bronze award was the result of SDO Cabuyao competencies, systems, and practices in four HR systems: (1) recruitment, selection, and placement; (2) learning and development; (3) performance management; and (4) rewards and recognition.

The Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIMEHRM) integrates and enhances the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP). It is a mechanism that empowers government agencies by developing their human resource management toward HR excellence. PRIME-HRM entails greater engagement not just of the human resource management officer (HRMO) but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees of the agency. These inculcate meritocracy and excellence in the public service through a program of reward, recognition, emThe main objective of HRM is to ensure the right people with the right skills for the right job position in an organization, while HR main functions consist of recruiting, training, performance appraisal, motivating employees, managing workplace communication, and others. The human resource department is also in charge of keeping employees safe, healthy, and satisfied.

Proper HR management, workplace policies, necessary protective measures and implementation provide solutions to issues between team members which results in avoiding risk for the company and its employees (SocMob#3/2023)
