DEPED CABUYAO HONORS 2019 EDUCATION PARTNERS

With the theme, “Linkages: Gateway for Quality, Inclusive, Accessible and Liberating Basic Education”, SDO Cabuyao recognized the 2019 stakeholders and education partners on Dec. 10, 2019 at View Park Hotel, Tagaytay City, Province of Cavite.

Twenty outstanding stakeholders were given recognition during the conduct of 2019 Recognition of Partners. The activity aimed at honoring remarkable contributions of education partners in support of the various programs and projects of SDO Cabuyao.

On top of the list for the first 5 are Wyeth Philippines, Inc., Teletech Costumer Care Management Phils., Proctor and Gamble Philippines, Inc., Capital One Philippines Support Services Corp., and Transition Optical Philippines, Inc. The total donations of the top 5 partners amounted to Php 5,440,739.00. Rotary Club of Cabuyao, Ballet Manila, Philippines, Balik Banlician/Alumni, Cabuyao Water District, James Hardie, Inc., GPTA-Pulo NHS, Cabuyao Lions Club, Nestle Philippines, Inc., Bato Balani Foundation, Inc., Denzo Philippine Corp., Amaia Land Corporation, American International Group, Light Industrial Science Park 1, GPTA Officers- Pulo ES, and Nexperia complete the 6th to 20th place respectively. In recognition of their contributions, they were given certificates and plaques of appreciation.

The event was graced by Mayor Atty. Rommel A. Gecolea, of Cabuyao City, Cong. Ruth M. Hernandez, of the 2nd District of Laguna and Mr. Neil Evangelista, Education Support Services personnel from Region IV A CALABARZON.

In their messages, Mayor Gecolea and Cong. Hernandez congratulated and appreciated the stakeholders for their untiring support to SDO Cabuyao. They also emphasized the important roles the awardees play in the attainment of the various goals of the different programs and projects of DepEd Cabuyao.

Dr. Ronnie Villanueva, Senior Education Programs Specialist of the Social Mobilization Section of the School Governance and Operations Division, spearheaded the activity with the guidance of the OIC Chief of SGOD Dr. Jose Charlie S. Aloquin.

Present in the occasion also were Dr. Elvira B. Catangay, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Cabuyao, Dr. Edna F. Hemedez, Chief, Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), public school district supervisors, school heads of public elementary and secondary schools, barangay officials, PTA officers of different schools and other stakeholders.

The recognition of stakeholders is an annual activity of DepEd Cabuyao with the purpose of strengthening and sustaining partnerships with stakeholders.
